Money Movers 3 flips the script on the popular puzzle-platformer series by putting you in charge of law enforcement rather than the escaping convicts. Instead of guiding the infamous criminal brothers out of confinement, you control a dedicated prison guard and his agile guard dog on a mission to track down and apprehend inmates who broke out of their cells.

Every stage presents a compact puzzle room filled with laser security grids, moving elevator lifts, pressure plates, and wandering convicts. Success depends on synchronizing the complementary abilities of your duo. While the game works smoothly as a solo experience where one player manages both characters, it truly shines when two players share a keyboard to coordinate jumps, switches, and takedowns in real time.

How to play

The controls allow two players to operate simultaneously on a single computer without complicated setup:

• Guard: Move with the W, A, S, D keys. The guard can push heavy crates, activate elevated switches, climb ladders, and place handcuffs on subdued prisoners.
• Guard Dog: Move using the Arrow keys. The dog moves quickly, leaps higher than the guard, navigates narrow air ducts, and barks to terrify criminals into surrender.
• Solo Controls: If playing alone, you can control both characters side-by-side or press Space to swap active focus.

To clear a level, the dog must first run up to an enemy and bark to freeze them in terror. Once the convict raises their hands, the guard must approach and cuff them. After securing every criminal on the screen and picking up any money bags scattered across the floor, move both characters to the exit doorway to advance.

Tips and strategies

• Lead with the dog: Never send the guard directly into an alert convict alone, as the guard cannot attack standing enemies. Always send the dog ahead to bark and intimidate targets before moving in to cuff them.
• Scout the laser grids: Laser barriers will instantly reset the stage if touched. Look for wall switches or pressure buttons that temporarily disable beams, and use the dog to slip past tight spaces to reach inaccessible levers.
• Collect every money sack: Each level contains three optional money sacks. Gathering all bags across the campaign unlocks bonus challenge levels that test your platforming timing.
• Coordinate elevator switches: Several puzzles require one character to stand on a pressure plate while the other rides a platform up to the next floor. Communicate timing before stepping off switches.
